2022-2023 Snowball Series

The 2022-2023 DC Road Runners Snowball Race Series will begin on Sunday, December 4. The first race in the series is the Gar Williams Half Marathon, which will be held on the C&O Towpath. The half marathon start is at Carderock Recreation Area, at exactly the same location as the start for the National Capital 20 Miler.

The Snowball Race Series is open to club members and non-members alike. All of the Derby races offer excellent training opportunities and enjoyable recreational experiences in equal measure. Runners of every experience level are welcome.

If you are actively training for the 2023 George Washington’s Birthday Marathon and Relay, or any other spring race, the Snowball Series races can double as tempo run opportunities that will allow you to monitor your progress and guide your training.

2022 Bunion Derby Results

The 2022 Bunion Derby Series came to a successful close in late August. As always, the results were impressive. Congratulations to all series participants.
