2026 Race Registration

Registration for the 2026 National Capital 20 Miler and Janet Braunstein 5 Miler is currently open.

Due to increased demand for race permits on the C&O Towpath, this year’s events will be held on Saturday, October 3. Regardless, both races are perfectly timed for fall racing season, particularly for marathon runners.

Early Bird Registration fees run through July 31. On August 1, registration rates will increase. We always encourage early registration in order to reserve your race swag. Likewise, we encourage race participants to join DC Road Runners.

Elite entry submissions are once again open. Please submit your results for consideration as early as possible.
